I'm more concerned that despite inspecting this problem plant, we haven't gleaned any real information on it. The security doesn't even make it too suspicious either. Do you think this really is an accident? I truly hope it isn't anything nefarious.
[He smiles and puts a hand on her arm, and in the blink of an eye they are no longer where they were standing. Instead, they're in a very different part of the city- in fact, it's the area where most of the Moonblessed's living quarter are.]
Perhaps our universes operate on different rules. Myself and the other Kais can teleport wherever they like, and there's even a race of beings in Universe Seven that have a technique to teleport across the galaxy, though it is far more restrictive than my own ability.
[Guess not all universes are created equal. Interesting to know there are other universes where that's not possible.]

[He smiles, not minding at all.]

[Then again, does an angry mob need a reason?]
no subject
Neither can I.
[Unless...]
Unless one of the Moonblessed planted that thing here.
[Didn't they come with some of their belongings? He came with his clothes and his earrings...]
no subject
[She sure doesn't]
no subject
[Evil is all over the universe!]
But I wouldn't rule it out. Perhaps this is the doing of a Moonblessed.
no subject
[That's her current theory anyway.]
no subject
[The truth is that they just don't have enough information to make a real guess.]
I'm not sure if staying here is going to gain us any more valuable information, for now.
no subject
Ready to head out?

[She could sneak out, but she could also learn more about Shin...hmmm....]
no subject
There. I thought it best to return home.

[She is completely, utterly, stunned. Kerra stands here, eyes wide, mouth half open...]
...What just happened?
no subject
[That's his bad. Sorry, Kerra.]
no subject
[Shouldn't, but clearly is!]

[...]
Is it magic? Or...well, it isn't the Force, I know that.
no subject
[He's not really sure how to describe it.]
I suppose you could call it an innate ability of mine as Supreme Kai. Not all Kais are able to teleport as I can. It is a divine ability.
no subject
[Just so she can get her head on straight, she has to ask.]
no subject
[He nods, and smiles in that mysterious way he does
even though he's really just a cinnamon roll]no subject
[Big time, actually.]
no subject
[He's pretty sure most mortals don't even know who the Kais are.]
I'm just the overseer, not an idol of worship. My position would not impede the Jedi way whatsoever. That is the organization you belong to, yes?
no subject
[That should be easy enough to get.]
Are you just some sort of observer? Or do you take an active role?
no subject
Just an observer. I only intervene if absolutely necessary. It is not my job to influence mortals' evolution.
no subject
[She's got questions there. But mostly that. That will answer all of them.]
no subject
[It seems to him like a lot to explain for now.]
Perhaps I can explain another time. It is getting a bit late.
